Carolyn Raden Chief Financial Officer
As Chief Financial Officer at Erie Street, Carolyn leads the strategic and day-to-day management of the firm’s financial operations. She oversees accounting, financial planning and analysis, cash flow, and regulatory compliance, while partnering with leadership to strengthen the firm’s financial infrastructure. Carolyn also supports Erie Street’s portfolio partners through financial oversight, reporting enhancements, and scalable operational solutions.
Prior to joining Erie Street, Carolyn was Chief Financial Officer and a Principal at Kovitz Investment Group, a $32 billion wealth management firm. During her tenure, she led financial operations through a period of rapid expansion, completing multiple acquisitions and managing post-close integration, due diligence, and synergy realization. She also oversaw the firm’s budgeting, forecasting, treasury, financial reporting, and advisor compensation processes. Carolyn played a key role in firm-wide strategic planning and led initiatives to streamline operations, enhance scalability, and strengthen internal controls. She served as President of the firm’s charitable foundation, helping to define its mission and expand community engagement.
Carolyn began her career at Deloitte & Touche in assurance services and is a licensed CPA in Illinois and Texas. She holds both a Master in Professional Accounting and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin. She is a member of the CFO Leadership Council, the AICPA, the Illinois CPA Society, and Chief, a private network for senior executive women.
