Kent R. Weldon Strategic Advisor

As an advisory partner to Thomas H. Lee Partners, Kent R. Weldon brings more than 30 years of Private Equity experience to Erie Street’s advisory board. Kent has a deep knowledge and understanding of private growth investments, having led the corporate strategy and growth execution of exceptional companies across multiple industries including Business Services, Media & Information Services, Consumer, and Healthcare.

Prior to joining Thomas H. Lee Partners (1991), Kent worked at Morgan Stanley & Co. Incorporated in the Financial Institutions Group, as well as Wellington Management Company, an institutional money management firm. Kent holds a Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, in Economics and Arts and Letters Program for Administrators from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Kent has been a member of the Board of Directors for several private and public companies and remains an active board member of several corporate and non-profit organizations. He formerly served as a member of the Board of Trustees at The Meadowbrook School in Weston, MA, and remains a Trustee Emeritus. He also formerly served on the Board of Trustees at The Winsor School in Boston, MA, and remains a member of the Corporation. He serves on the Board of Good Sports Inc and is a member of Harvard Business School Community Action Partners, both non-profit organizations based in Boston.
