Timothy J. Romenesko Strategic Advisor

As a seasoned finance and operations executive, Timothy serves Erie Street as a member of its advisory board, providing guidance on investments, M&A, treasury, and financial operations for the firm.

Timothy served on the Board of Directors at AAR Corp., a publicly-traded provider of products and value-add services for the global aerospace and defense industry, where he held multiple leadership roles including President, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Vice Chairman, before retiring in December 2017. During his tenure, he was responsible for the firm’s growth strategies, financial and accounting operations, capital markets activities, and investments in the manufacturing and information technology sectors. Since retiring from AAR in 2017 after a 37-year career, Timothy has provided advisory services to various companies including a global Fortune 100 business as well as private equity investors and family offices.

Timothy earned his BA from St. Norbert College and his MBA from DePaul University. He holds a CPA designation in Illinois and is a member of the Financial Executives Institute and the Illinois CPA Society. He previously served as a trustee on the Board of Directors at St. Norbert College and is involved in several community and charitable organizations.
