LONDON (Wednesday, March 27, 2024)—50,000feet is pleased to announce former Landor Associates CEO, Charlie Wrench, as Chairman of its Board of Directors. In this role, Charlie will guide the continued growth and evolution of 50,000feet as it seeks to broaden its multidisciplinary approach to delivering design-driven strategic branding solutions for clients navigating today’s digitally transformed world.
With nearly four decades of agency experience, Charlie brings seasoned executive and operational leadership along with deep agency experience and brand expertise to 50,000feet. He previously served as the Chief Executive Officer of Landor Associates (2006–2011), WPP’s premier global brand consulting and design network with 22 offices worldwide. During his tenure, the firm expanded into new geographies, opening several offices, growing client accounts and exceeding performance metrics.

While at Landor for more than a decade, Charlie rose through the ranks as Managing Director of London (2000–2004), to European President (2004–2006) and Chief Strategy Officer (2004–2006). Charlie has also served as Chief Connective Officer at Kin + Karta, where he helped to transform the company from a diverse collection of digital companies into a single, unified consultancy. He began his career at Y&R (1990–1999), where he was a global client managing director and led the creation of a global delivery model for Colgate-Palmolive.
